From August until October 14th
these sessions will look at the classic short text 'Advice from Atisha's Heart'

Atisha was an Indian Buddhist Master who originally established Kadampa Buddhism in Tibet. While in Tibet he gave his disciples this special advice, his most heartfelt and essential teachings in a very special presentation of Buddha's teachings.

We are still experiencing the benefits of his kind actions.

The advice is as relevant today as it was then. The problems people have are in their minds, their attitudes.
Buddha's advice addresses these inner problems, rather than the endless outer difficulties which will never come to an end because every solution applied to them inevitably creates more outer problems.
Fortunately, our inner problems do have an end, if we can follow the liberating path and free our mind from its mistakes.

This precious text is part of the 'Kadampa Way of life' that can be found as a booklet or included as an appendix in many of Geshe Kelsang's books, such as Transform your Life.

'Advice from Atisha's Heart'

Each class includes guided meditations, a talk, discussion, and tea and biscuits. They are self-contained and open to everyone. There is no need to book, just turn up on the night. If possible, its best to attend all the classes of a four-week course, and there is a discount for paying in advance.

Facility fee £6 / £4 conc.
or buy a 'Class Card' and pay for 4 classes in advance £20 / £12
