These classes are based on Eight Steps To Happiness, the Buddhist way of loving kindness

27-08-08: Introduction to meditation

4-9-08: Where does happiness come from?

11-9-08: some Background knowledge that is useful for engaging in Buddhist meditation

18-9-08: Some stories about Bodhisattva Langri Tangpa's life, the author of Eight Steps to Happiness that will inspire us to fully enjoy our daily meditation practice

25-9-08: Like a diamond, like the sun and like a medicinal tree: These meditation instructions can help us transform all our difficulties and problems into opportunities for spiritual development

1-10-08 to 15-10-08: The preliminary practices:
The more conscientiously we practice the preliminaries, the more easily we shall gain deep experience of our practice of training the mind

Each class includes guided meditations, a talk, discussion, and tea and biscuits. They are self contained and open to everyone. There is no need to book, just turn up on the night.
