Open Afternoon

Free entry

Sunday 7th September 2pm - 6pm

Drop in to Amitabha Centre's annual Open Afternoon and enjoy free meditation taster sessions, bric a brac and gift stalls, and refreshments.

The World Peace cafe will also be serving it's
usual selection of drinks, homemade cakes and light lunches.

There will be a BBQ in the garden

This is a great opportunity to have a look around our beautiful house and
garden. Everyone welcome, entry is free and we have good disabled access and facilities.

The sponsored walk held in June that covered the high points of the Mendip range raised a grand total of £1030. Well done to everyone who helped to make it such a success in so many ways. Thank you all very much.

Check out the Kadampa.org site for some great new literature and news from around the world of how the NKT is developing.
In particular there is a new booklet (which is downloadable -and will shortly become available in hard copy) that explains clearly 'what is a Kadampa'.
There is also a link to the New Kadampa Truth site which is fighting the smears that a small group of unhappy individuals are directing at our tradition. Now is the time to dispel false accusations against the innocent.

A lovely inspiring video celebrating NKT
